I whipped up another example of an intermediate Skyline quilt block this morning. Actually, it took almost 2 hours to sew. This time I used various violet and green fabrics for the buildings.

Why is it that everything in my life takes 3 times longer to do than I think it should? If I could figure that one out, my world would be golden!

You may notice, that the building heights vary more in this version than in the other sample blocks. That’s because my friend saw the other blocks and said “Ooo, books!” Don’t you love it when good friends tell you the truth? So I decided that if I varied the building heights and showed more of the night sky, it might look more like a skyline, which after all, is what it is supposed to be.

Have a great day :).
